Shrimp & Sausage Pasta in Creamy Cajun Sauce 



Ingredients

1 lb shrimp (peeled and deveined) 

1 lb smoked sausage (sliced) 

12 oz fettuccine pasta 

1 tbsp olive oil 

1 onion (chopped) 

1 red bell pepper (chopped) 

2 cloves garlic (minced) 

1 cup heavy cream 

1 cup chicken broth 

1 tbsp Cajun seasoning 

Salt and pepper to taste 

Fresh parsley for garnish 

Instructions
Cook the Pasta: Boil a pot of salted water and cook the fettuccine according to package instructions. Drain and set aside. 

Prepare the Shrimp: Heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil in a large pan over medium heat. Season the shrimp with Cajun seasoning, salt, and pepper. Cook the shrimp for 2-3 minutes per side until pink and cooked through. Remove from the pan and set aside. 

Cook the Sausage: In the same pan, add the sliced sausage and cook until browned. Remove and set aside. 

SautΓ© the Vegetables: In the same pan, sautΓ© the chopped onion, bell pepper, and garlic for 2-3 minutes until softened. 



Make the Sauce: Pour in the chicken broth and heavy cream, stirring to combine. Bring to a simmer, then add Cajun seasoning, salt, and pepper. Let it simmer for 4-5 minutes, allowing it to thicken. 



Combine Everything: Add the cooked sausage, shrimp, and pasta to the pan, tossing to coat everything in the creamy sauce. 



Serve: Garnish with fresh parsley and serve hot!
