Steak Bites and Rotini in Garlic Parmesan Sauce
Savory Steak Bites Tossed with Rotini in a Creamy Garlic Parmesan Sauce
Ingredients:
1 pound sirloin steak, cut into bite-sized pieces
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 teaspoon garlic powder
Salt and pepper to taste
8 ounces rotini pasta
4 tablespoons unsalted butter
4 cloves garlic, minced
1 cup heavy cream
1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
Red pepper flakes (optional)
Directions:
In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Season the steak bites with garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Add the steak to the skillet and sear for 3-4 minutes, or until browned and cooked to your desired doneness. Remove the steak from the skillet and set aside.
In the same skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for 1-2 minutes, or until fragrant. Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer. Stir in the grated Parmesan cheese until melted and smooth. Season with salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes if desired.
Meanwhile, cook the rotini pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and add the pasta to the skillet with the garlic Parmesan sauce. Toss to coat the pasta evenly.
Add the cooked steak bites back into the skillet and gently mix everything together. Remove from heat and garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
