Cherry Bars 🍒🍪

Ingredients:

1 box yellow cake mix (or white cake mix) 🎂
1/3 cup melted butter 🧈
1 egg 🥚
1 can (21 oz) cherry pie filling 🍒
1/4 cup powdered sugar (for dusting) 🍬

Instructions:

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) 🔥. Grease or line a 9×13-inch baking pan with parchment paper 📋.
In a large bowl, combine the cake mix, melted butter, and egg. Mix until a soft dough forms 🥄.
Press about 2/3 of the dough into the bottom of the prepared baking pan to form the crust 🍪.
